Andromeda's Vision

Beginning of tea parties

Hello! We would like to introduce you to our main cast of stars that will dominate our image and fulfill the vision we have for Andromeda. Here you will be provided with a deep dive into the characters, along with quite a bit of the philosophy we want to emphasize through them and our movement. You will also get glimpses into a much grander overarching storyline, that will develop and progress as time goes on. There is meaning and intention behind everything, so keep your third eye open.
This page will develop and grow as stars are introduced, and our philosophy expands.

ANDROMEDA

Beginning of tea parties

ANDROMEDA is an omnipotent being with inconceivable power. Their appearance bears a striking resemblance to the 'eye of providence', though their connection remains unknown. They don’t appear to subscribe to our notions of good and bad and they don’t hold true values or beliefs, yet as far as we know, still choose to see the betterment of our world. In fact, they arrived here in our galaxy to do just that, be a symbol of hope and a spectator to what will be positive change to our world. We will be holding a constant live video feed documenting the actions of ANDROMEDA as they occur, and as time goes on, we will be able to provide more information on how this supposed 'new world order' goes down. You may also find some of ANDROMEDA'S wisdoms we managed to formulate together onto this page, and as we get more info, we can slowly begin to unravel the philosophy of ANDROMEDA.

The Duo - Cultural Icons with a purpose

Beginning of tea parties

Delivered by ANDROMEDA themself into our galaxy, our two main stars, Pyramid and Eyeball are the first and most trusted of ANDROMEDA’S many shepherds of change, those who are tasked with demolishing the established order and facilitating the creation of a new world through ANDROMEDA'S guidance. How capable they are of truly accomplishing this task is still left to be known, and only time will tell if these two can truly lead the movement and make a name for themselves within our unforgiving world.

#01 Pyramid

Pyramid is the first of ANDROMEDA'S many stars and perhaps the most polarizing. Pyramid is not a saint, like at all. He is often times very pessimistic, and doesn't always put on the friendliest face. In fact, his favorite things include: guns, smoking, money, and using his extensive repertoire of colorful vocabulary words. He also holds a strange fascination with "destigmatizing the middle finger", perhaps so he can simply use it more often. Despite these seemingly off putting aspects, however, Pyramid has many notable qualities as well. Pyramid truly understands how the world works, in fact, he is extremely intelligent and a strong realist because of it. Despite seeing everything and going through a lot of hardships himself, he knows that these experiences have made him who he is now, and he is extremely true with himself because of it. Although vandalizing and committing crimes against rich corporations is still a great time for pyramid, he is able to find true happiness when he lets everything go with the flow, never stressing himself out. Although his past always finds a way to follow him, Pyramid still manages to enjoy the now with the people he cares about, and with enough of Eyeball's encouragement and a little extra fire within, has the power to seriously tackle any challenge ahead and change the world.

#02 Eyeball

Eyeball is the second of ANDROMEDA'S stars and is more than willing to fulfill his role. Eyeball is an incredibly strong optimist and has the gift of being able to see the beauty in everything. Eyeball can often be found flying through the sky, collecting as many stars as he can. He is a strong dreamer, usually with his head in the clouds, and always tries to find a way to make people happier. While, Pyramid might not have patience for anyone, Eyeball is the type to give almost anyone the benefit of the doubt, almost to a fault, as he is overall a lot more caring and understanding, yet very gullible. In fact, Eyeball is a strong idealist at heart, but this is not always a good thing. Eyeball's eyes are oftentimes so filled with stars that he is unable to see the reality of the world around him. Even when he does remove those rose tinted glasses, he often lets his anxiety get the better of him. Hyper-fixating on all the little details, worrying about making a change or leaving a legacy, and always ending up never having time to truly enjoy the now, past his superficial affection for the world. Eyeball has a true fire within, a fire that yearns for something greater, but before he is able to blast off into the future, he's going to need slow down and and like water, go with the flow, and with the supervision of Pyramid, tackle their mission of changing the world together.

The False Dichotomy of the Human Condition

Beginning of tea parties

In our world, people often live and perceive with predispositions of black and white, that there is only good and bad, that there are only righteous people and sinful people, that there is a heaven and a hell. Even if you believe in a wider spectrum, the vast majority of people have subconsciously been conditioned to label and judge things on a surface level on a daily basis. As such, the duo's main purpose as characters is to reject these notions, and offer a different perspective on how we evaluate our world. On the surface, the duo may appear to support this dichotomy, with their physical appearance resembling that of one being an angel and the other a devil, a very prevalent concept in western religion, and their personalities too appearing to emphasize one being good and the other bad. But when we look past these surface level qualities and look within the characters, we see that they aren’t as black and white as they may seem. While their personalities appear to be complete polar opposites, in a sense we all exhibit aspects of their personalities in some way. The idea is not that a person is either one or the other, but rather that both reflect different sides of the same human experience that we all go through. In the real world, no one is an angel, we are all flawed, and no one is inherently a devil, and only ever leaning towards two very different extremes can cause problems. As such, when apart, these two cause pure chaos, with Pyramid giving into his deepest darkest vices, committing crimes, never willing to grow, and never seeing the world for how it could be, while in contrast, Eyeball being too willful, literally flying too close to the sun, and oblivious to the world that truly is. In life, these qualities, just like the characters should never be apart or one emphasized more than the other, they are simply different sides of the same coin. We want Andromeda to break down how we see our ever evolving sociocultural world, and understand that the true answer in everything in life is a balance of black and white, a balance of everything. When our two characters come together and put aside their differences, they become an unstoppable pair with the power to carry out ANDROMEDA's vision of changing the world. This idea of a balance of everything in life, displayed in the form of our two main stars, will serve as the basis for our entire philosophy still yet to come and develop overtime.

#03 Robot

Beginning of tea parties

Robot is the third of ANDROMEDA’S chosen stars, and a most welcome addition! Robot was designed to work as a mediator between Pyramid and Eyeball’s tendency towards conflict. He was sent down after their bickering almost disrupted the spread of one of Andromeda’s incredibly important Wisdoms. Robot is essentially perfect. He is able to calculate millions of equations a second, pull up any bit of information from his database of infinite knowledge, and he also contains a built in music player, as all robots should. Despite these differences, he is well liked by everyone (save for Pyramid in a bad mood) as he is always available to lend a helping hand and perfect pretty much any task given to him. His perfection extends to practice as well, as while Eyeball and Pyramid tend to preach about mindfulness, balancing all aspects of life, and being a good person, Robot actually puts all of these values into practice, daily. He is in every sense of the term, the true balance of the universe. There is just one problem. The universe is not balanced. Our reality is not and never is in a state of perfect equilibrium. In fact, we are constantly under the mercy of a galactic phenomenon known as entropy, the slow yet exponential, chaotic nature of the universe, and Robot is forever haunted by this. Despite being the literal definition of perfect in every practical sense, despite being loved by all, and despite having infinite knowledge including the step by step knowledge to becoming truly happy, inside he is hollow. Whether it be due to some intergalactic plan, or simply the cruel hands of fate, Robot was never coded and does not have the capacity to be truly happy. Along with this, Robot is not able to understand social cues, or more figurative meaning. Sarcasm, metaphors, and even intention, escape him, or are sometimes simply a lot harder for him to understand, and see less literally. Balance is what defines Robot, but it's also his kryptonite. While Eyeball is able to see the world for how it could be, and Pyramid sees it for how it truly is, Robot, just sees a static world, and not much else. On top of this, if Robot were to ever cry, the water from his tears would cause him to short circuit, electrifying his body, leading to sure death, and because of this, he never shows his true emotions. Robot is a gift, that's why his sole purpose is to live in the present… if only it were that easy.

An Unbalanced Universe

Beginning of tea parties

A great way of interpreting our first three main stars can be through seeing them aligned on a spectrum. With Pyramid symbolizing one extreme and Eyeball the other, and their balance, as we have emphasized before, in effect when they are actually able to work together. Their partnership or balance has the potential to change the world. However, this doesn't always happen. We often see Pyramid and Eyeball at odds with each other. And even though Robot was introduced to amend this issue, his entire character introduces the idea that this balance of everything in life is not truly realistic. As much as we can try our best to balance every aspect of our life, and by doing so achieving pure enlightened bliss, we are all only human, and we are inevitably bound to make mistakes. This is why Robot, (A character meant to symbolize pure balance on the spectrum) is a robot, he is artificial, unrealistic, and not a naturally occurring entity.
Expanding on this idea of a spectrum, you may also see these three characters in terms of a popular psychoanalytic theory regarding the three agents of the brain. Pyramid is the Id, the more indulgent and instinctual side of the mind. Eyeball is the Superego, the more morally driven, and idealistic side. And lastly, Robot, symbolizing the ego, the mediator of both sides, and what we present to the world.

A Bitter Truth

Beginning of tea parties

Our characters are very tragic in a sense, with their true potentials always within arms length, but due to the unforgiving nature of the universe, they can never grasp. Eyeball’s ambition, getting in the way of his chance to truly live, and like water, go with the flow. Pyramid’s complacency, defusing any spark with the potential of igniting a fire of passion within. And Robot’s perfection, disabling him from truly feeling alive, truly feeling emotion. Emotion that would only lead to electricity literally killing him. And yet, electricity would be the only thing that could spark his soul.
